How we handle your personal data

This website, distrix.in, is run by Hakkenz Tech, Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India. For the personal data described here, Hakkenz Tech is the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023: we decide why and how it is used.

This policy covers this website: the "Book a demo" form, and the email, phone and WhatsApp links on it. Business data that customers put into the Distrix platform itself is covered by their service agreement with us.

When you send the "Book a demo" form, we collect only the following, for the purpose shown:

Purpose: to respond to your demo request, arrange and run the demo, and follow up about it. We will not use these details for any other purpose without asking you first.

What we do not collect: this website sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no analytics. It stores one setting in your own browser (light or dark mode), which never reaches us. Our hosting provider sees your IP address when you visit, as every website host does, and uses it to deliver the page and keep the site secure; we do not use it to identify you.

We process your form details on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box before you send the form. The box is never ticked for you, and we do not send the form without it.

Withdrawing consent: you can withdraw at any time by emailing hakkenzai@gmail.com with the subject "Withdraw consent", or by replying "withdraw" to any email we sent you. We will then stop using your details and delete them, except where the law requires us to keep something. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before you withdrew.

If you contact us directly by email, phone or WhatsApp instead of the form, we use what you share only to reply to you.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. To deliver your request to our team, it passes through:

• Cloudflare, which hosts this website and delivers the form to our inbox by email.
• Google (Gmail), which hosts the hakkenzai@gmail.com mailbox where demo requests arrive.
• WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to message us there; WhatsApp's own privacy policy then also applies.

These services act as Data Processors for us and may store data on servers outside India. Apart from them, only our own team sees your details. We share personal data with authorities only when the law requires it.

We keep your form details while we are discussing the demo with you. If we do not go on to work together, we delete them within 12 months of our last contact, or sooner if you ask. If you become a customer, your contact details are then kept under our service agreement. Where the law requires us to keep a record for longer, we keep only that record, for only as long as required.

The website is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Demo requests go straight to a single team mailbox protected by access controls, and only the people handling your request can see them. The form is checked for spam and for tampering before anything is sent.

If a breach ever affects your personal data, we will tell you without delay, in plain language: what happened, what it may mean for you, what we are doing about it and who to contact. We will also report it to the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Access

  Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we have used it.

• Correction

  Ask us to correct, complete or update anything that is wrong or out of date.

• Erasure

  Ask us to delete your personal data when it is no longer needed for the purpose you gave it for.

• Withdraw consent

  Withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. See below for how.

• Nominate

  Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or are unable to.

• Grievance redressal

  Raise a complaint with us, and with the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied.

How to use them: email hakkenzai@gmail.com from the address you used in the form, saying what you would like. We may ask you to confirm it is you before acting. We will respond as soon as we can, and in any case within 90 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India, which accepts complaints online. We ask that you contact us first so we can try to put things right.

This website and the demo form are meant for businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. If a change affects data you have already given us, we will tell you and, where needed, ask for your consent again.
